First Post!

I'm going to use this blog to try to keep track of the efforts/results and hopefully progress of my creative attempts. Right now I'm doing a lot of copying, it is easier to practice that way. The charcoal drawing of the woman and the ink of the bear are both mine, but the original sources are from Matt Phelan (he has a great blog btw). My projects are hanging around drawing and needlepoint right now, but I've seen some beautiful painted quilts (especially by Judy Coates Perez) that are making me dream about combining the two.
